Welcome to my world of handcrafted earrings! My name is Therese and I’m a passionate earring crafter living on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. I find immense joy in exploring the myriad of earring designs available, and I love getting lost in the creative process.

I never originally set out to have an earrings business - it just sort of snuck up on me. It started when I spoke to a lady at a market who made her own earrings, and the thought grew in my head - this would be fun - so I started making them for myself, and then my daughter, and then friends, and eventually the number of earrings piling up around me threatened to become a storage issue. So I sold them at markets and in cafes...and now, my latest foray into online.

The Heart of Cricklewood Creative

And this is the heart of Cricklewood - where my earring pieces are waiting to be chosen and have life breathed into them. They are crafted from a metal alloy, ensuring they both look good and are durable. The beads I use are primarily glass, but I also incorporate polymer clay, resin and acrylic compounds to add variety and uniqueness to each piece. My earring hooks are nickel-free, making them low-irritant and comfortable for most people.

Can you ever have enough beads?

I never grow tired of looking at beads - their sparkle and colour is just so impossibly magnetic. I can find myself just gazing at them and getting lost in their beauty. I think there's something about the refraction of light that sparks something deeply at the core of of us.
