About Cricklewood Creative

A few years ago I started making earrings just for myself, but then I found I enjoyed the process so much that I couldn't stop. A few containers of earring bits and bobs expanded into the room you see today. For me, making earrings is a great way to relax . I find it very meditative. So I started Cricklewood Creative earrings. There are endless combinations that I use. In the beginning I tried to keep photographs of the different designs but there are too many. So now I just treat every pair like its own creation. Sometimes I really love a pair and I'll repeat them - usually in different colours. But most times I let them spring forth with their own individual life. The earrings are made using a metal alloy with glass beads, although I also use  resin, stone, polymer clay, acrylic and shell beads. The hooks are stainless steel and nickle free. As the main pieces are metal they will tarnish over time but they can be easily cleaned using a jewellery cleaning cloth.
